More than 45 veterans received much-needed dental care at no cost when the Aspen Dental MouthMobile visited Ocala, FL on November 13 and Jacksonville, FL on November 15.

The MouthMobile is a 42-foot-long dental office on wheels that travels the country, where Aspen Dental team members provide free dental care to our nation’s veterans. This year the MouthMobile visited 28 communities, concluding the 2018 tour with the stop in Jacksonville.

Dr. Paul Pimentel, Dr. Molly Stanford, Dr. Anhtuan Nguyen and the team of volunteers treated 21 veterans in Ocala, FL. With an onsite lab technician, a patient was able to receive a partial denture. Ocala Mayor Kent Guinn stopped by to tour the MouthMobile and to show his support for local veterans and the Aspen Dental team.

In Jacksonville, Dr. Blair Simeon, whose husband is in the Navy, and a team of Aspen Dental volunteers were able to help 25 veteran patients get out of immediate pain. Two lab technicians were on site for this stop and were able to repair a denture for a veteran patient.

Aspen Dental’s commitment to veterans is also front-and-center on its annual Day of Service. On that day, hundreds of Aspen Dental-branded practices nationwide open their doors exclusively to veterans and take care of their most urgent dental needs for free.

These programs and others are part of Aspen Dental’s Healthy Mouth Movement. Since 2014, Aspen Dental volunteers have donated more than $13 million in dentistry to more than 20,000 veterans and people in need.
