Aspen Dental Provides Free Care to Veterans in Florida

The Aspen Dental MouthMobile visited Bradenton, FL on March 7 where 27 veterans received much-needed dental care at no cost.

The MouthMobile is a 42-foot-long dental office on wheels that travels the country, where Aspen Dental team members provide free dental care to our nation’s veteran. This year the MouthMobile is scheduled to visit 30 communities across 28 states.

Practice owners Dr. Dustin Dixon and Dr. Ashley Keen-Ramirez along with a team of volunteers provided dental treatments to address the veterans’ most immediate needs including cleanings, fillings and extractions. They adopted four of the veterans to receive all of their comprehensive care – full mouth extractions and a full set of dentures – for free throughout the rest of 2019.

“We’re so appreciative of what Aspen Dental is doing for our veterans,” said Gary Tibbetts, special assistant to U.S. Congressman Vern Buchanan. “What a great team for bringing positivity and smiles to all of the veterans!”

Aspen Dental’s commitment to veterans is also front-and-center on its annual Day of Service. On June 8, 2019, hundreds of Aspen Dental-branded practices nationwide will open their doors exclusively to veterans and take care of their most urgent dental needs for free.

These programs and others are part of Aspen Dental’s Healthy Mouth Movement. Since 2014, Aspen Dental volunteers have donated more than $13 million in dentistry to more than 20,000 veterans and people in need.
