Vice President, Implant Support Services

The VP, Implant Support Services is responsible for supporting the development and deployment of Implant programs across Aspen Nation.  Focus is on developing an implant business model and enhancing the clinical capabilities of Aspen practice owners and their clinical teams. The VP, Implant Support Services will support providers in operationalizing programs to include image interpretation, treatment planning, surgical placement, and restorative surgical programs.  He/she will focus on developing and training standards to ensure an effective program inclusive of efficient patient flow, solid patient education and building the knowledge and capabilities of all team members related to Implant programs.


  • Develop and deploy programs related to Implants across the organization
  • Key opinion leader for Implant programs, equipment and related initiatives
  • Serves as subject matter expert for the development of training content
  • Design and delivery of restorative and surgical implant training programs
  • Improve clinical capabilities of clinical teams
  • Quality control; training and retraining as needed
  • Develops and drives metrics and incentives related to implants
  • Provides visible support to ensure implant goals are met
  • Provides input to Practice Owners and clinical teams on implant initiatives, policies, and practices that support company goals and objectives
  • Drives new implant pilot initiatives, as appropriate
  • Understands the business structure of Aspen Dental Management, Inc. and its role as a support service provider for Practice Owners and their teams

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Education Level; minimum DDS or DMD
  • Current license to practice dentistry in at least one (1) U.S. state
  • Ability to apply for alternate state licensure as required to fulfill job requirements
  • Job Related / Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years with concentration on implant programs
  • Communication skills: Confident, articulate, professional and persuasive speaking abilities / experience
  • Ability to travel Syracuse and Chicago Practice Support Centers as appropriate
  • Travel to Aspen Dental branded dental practices to provide coaching and mentorship, as appropriate
  • Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, and Excel applications
  • Familiarity with practice management applications and systems
