Director, Operations Strategy

As reflection of our continued growth we have an exciting opportunity to join our operations team as the Director, Operations Strategy. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director, Operations Strategy will drive and execute strategy, alignment, and planning for key operational initiatives to enhance Practice Owner support as well as best-in-class patient experience and service. The Director operates at a tactical, strategic and operational level, often handling the oversight of projects that do not neatly fit within the organizational chart or that fall between departments or leaders’ areas of responsibility. He/She is an integrator connecting different work streams that would otherwise remain siloed and is a communicator/presenter linking support functions to the broader organization. The Director, Operations Strategy has the skill and experience to integrate themselves into the organization and quickly assess issues that serve as barriers to the organization operating at optimal capacity. This role is not only critical to delivering the best possible experience for our patients, but also instrumental for helping ADMI continually achieve growth, innovation, employee engagement and high levels of efficiency.


  • Identify and lead high-profile strategic projects
  • Define and research new ideas and business initiatives
  • Tackle abstract issues and complex problems through data gathering, information analyzing, and presenting considerations to relevant stakeholders
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute activities to ensure expectations for timeliness, quality, and efficiency are delivered in conjunction internal and external parties
  • Develop any necessary remediation plans and ensures their timely completion.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, communicate operational implications, suggest alternatives that may achieve similar objectives but with more favorable impact to operations (e.g., lower cost, less complexity), and commit to approaches selected by leadership and leads their implementation
  • Provide strategic and domain-specific thought leadership and partnership to senior leaders, cross-functional stakeholders and other team members
  • Influence at multiple levels, drive and facilitate organizational change
  • Lead the development and maintenance of operational processes and procedures
  • Oversee leadership meeting preparation and creation of leadership meeting materials
  • Create and update monthly dashboards for the COO and help track changes in key metrics
  • Attend meetings in place of the COO as necessary and deliver progress reports
  • Serves as the primary liaison between business partners and operations teams
  • Represent COO in meetings, by email, and phone calls with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience

  • 10+ years’ experience in a leadership/management role, business development, corporate strategy and/or executive management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field; MBA preferred
  • Experience in consulting and operations
