Manager/Sr. Manager, Affiliate and Partnership Marketing (CONTRACT)


For 22 years, Aspen Dental Management, Inc (ADMI) has been innovating and iterating on the dental support organization model. We’re an entrepreneurial-minded group that relentlessly pursues new ways to break down barriers in support of the dentists and 10,000 team members who care for the 1.8 million patients that come through the doors of Aspen Dental practices every year. We believe the culture and partnership cultivated amongst the practice owners, practice teams and ADMI support team powers our success and makes it virtually impossible to imitate what we do.


We are in search of a trailblazer with affiliate and partnership marketing expertise to develop a framework and pilot program that will establish these channels as a core part of our demand generation program. At this time, this is a contract role, however upon proof of concept we anticipate this becoming a full-time role on the marketing team.


  • Lead development of the business strategy for an affiliate and partnership program at Aspen Dental
    • Understand the current marketplace and how traditional strategies can address Aspen Dental business needs and gaps in current demand generation program
    • Establish core program parameters and requirements including KPIs and partner requirements/qualifications
    • Create business case and pro forma for pilot and eventual roll-out
  • Champion affiliate and partner recruitment and onboarding  
    • Create a positioning and value proposition that will attract affiliates/partners and align them to our process and approach
    • Identify best prospects for pilot participants, with larger pool of potential future participants
  • Create a promotional plan to support key geographic areas of need and seasonal differences in patient demand flow
  • Work with cross-functional partners to establish processes and infrastructure to enable the program. Includes scheduling (call) center, web site, paid media, IT, analytics, legal and accounting
  • Improve effectiveness and the ROI of the program during the pilot phase through optimization of payout structure, promotions and best partners
  • Partner with marketing leadership in the education and alignment of cross-functional teams on how affiliate and partnership marketing works, being patient yet persistent as the organization learns how to best unleash the power of this function


Key success measures:

  • Primary: Incremental demand generated
  • Secondary: Meet or beat current cost per appointment metrics and ROI from other demand generation program components

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of marketing experience, and at least 5 years developing and implementing Affiliate and partnership programs
  • Deep knowledge of roadmap for creating or overhauling an affiliate and partnership program
  • Deep understanding of core tenets of success of affiliate and partnership programs  
  • Passion for continuous improvement and record of setting and exceeding goals that enable organizational objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to gain organizational support for strategies and plans
  • Entrepreneurial and nimble, well organized, takes ownership and drives forward amidst ambiguity while also building relationships and alignment
  • Desire to be part of a growth-oriented team and culture
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to travel up to 10% (as we emerge from the pandemic)
