Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Manager, Digital Content and Merchandising will be a champion of digital content and experiences for one or more brands within the ADMI portfolio. This role will set the tone for digital content strategy and digital experience within the brands they lead, helping guide teams to develop strategically more sound content and drive more cohesive channel distribution and integration. In partnership with the Director, the Manager will support personalization strategies, develop campaign plans, and deliver customer experiences that are rooted in business and brand goals while keeping the customer at the center of the experience.

 

It will be critical that the Manager, Digital Content and Merchandising be able to manage multiple priorities in process at the same time, seamlessly navigating both strategic and executional requirements. Digital experience and content initiatives will occur across multiple internal and external partners, but ultimate accountability will be held by the Digital Strategy, Content and Merchandising team.

 

Digital Strategy, Content and Merchandising functions as a shared services team, actively developing a Digital Strategy and Content Marketing center of excellence within the organization.

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Actively support the Director, Digital Strategy, Content and Merchandising and business leads in the organization to assess current needs and identify opportunities to support each brand’s business objectives
  • Educate the organization and build stakeholder alignment to digital content and merchandising best practices and opportunities to contribute to achieving business objectives
  • Deliver against a content marketing roadmap for one or more ADMI brands, supporting channel leads through the efficient creation and distribution of content through web, CRM, social, internal communications and additional touch points
  • Develop personalized customer experiences and content based upon research, customer insights and customer segmentation
  • Drive efficient marketing spend through organic optimization, developing content that attracts, converts, and drives loyalty at a lower cost than paid activity alone
  • Drive improved conversion rates on brand sites through optimizing current tools and identifying areas of opportunity, systematically testing new approaches and demonstrating results in partnership with Product
  • Partner with Customer Analytics to inform segmentation strategies and implement targeted marketing tests including monitoring accuracy with data outputs that deliver on the aligned upon test and learn plan
  • Owns merchandising of select brand properties, ensuring content remains fresh, relevant and increasingly personalized to meet customers where they are in the journey
  • Oversee reports and dashboards that provide insights into key programs and initiatives on an on-going basis.
  • Leverage and incorporate the right external partners (agencies, data and service providers, white label solutions) to best bring each brand’s vision to life
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

 

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5+ years related experience with a focus on planning and executing content marketing and digital solutions for brands in the retail, service or healthcare categories (agency or brand-side)
  • A ‘hands-on’ leader able to shift from strategic thinker to a tactical expert able to deliver on the strategies developed
  • Analytically minded and able to structure and mine data, use diagnostic web metrics and analyze opportunities
  • Experience in developing content marketing programs with increasing complexity, driving to more personalized web experiences that respond to user conditions
  • Strong communication skills, ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices, processes, and optimization strategies
  • Knowledge of Sitecore, Tableau and Phenom platforms a plus
  • Extremely organized with experience in driving cross-functional initiatives
  • Ability to travel adhoc
