Graphic and Digital Designer

As a reflection of our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Marketing team as a Graphic and Digital Designer.


Responsible for the design, development and production of advertising campaign materials including web, direct mail, email/CRM, social, display, in-store experience/signage, national and regional advertising from OLV to magazine, packaging and other collateral elements. Understanding of direct response essential. Work closely with internal departments and key vendors in developing standards for the company across all mediums. Take corporate identity elements and incorporate them across all materials for a consistent brand experience. Collaborate with internal creative team to concept and develop marketing campaigns and style guides/design systems and socialize the strategic direction with other internal and agency partners. Bring an appreciation for intuitive and usable interfaces and have a “mobile-first” mentality. Solid skills in digital art direction, an excellent eye for typography, clean layout, purposeful color, and attention to detail are a must. Must be proficient in traditional and digital production techniques. Must be able to prioritize and handle work in a fast paced environment.


Job Duties & Responsibilities:


Design: Design and production for a range of marketing and/or content materials. Develop appropriate design solutions within our campaign thematic and brand guidelines for the primary purpose of effectively selling services, related brand messages, or educating our customers in an engaging way. Ensure that each assigned project meets all production specifications prior to releasing to proof  and is delivered on time. Employ appropriate digital techniques as required including animation, video, micro-interactions, etc.


Concepting: In partnership with other creative team members, concept and develop new integrated marketing campaigns for internal and external audiences. Focus on thematic brand approach, visual and voice standards, activation ideas and tactical promotion to fully realize breakthrough creative that supports the brand vision, drives engagement and stands out from the clutter. Assist in the creation of the final style guides to be shared with internal and external partners.


Execution: Responsible for producing accurate and complete work including versioning for various review sessions. Execute proof corrections within the time frame dictated by the schedule. Prep and release files.


Content: Develop shot plans for photo/video shoots in conjunction with the Creative Director and other team partners. Partner and have excellent communication with crew, both internal and external. Responsible for the selection and editing of photographic assets, following agreed upon design direction. May also edit some video and create gifs, cinemagraphs and other digital assets from shoot materials. Create infographics and other engaging content to help explain our processes, story and advance our nurture streams in engaging, disruptive ways.


Craftsmanship: Must be a student of their craft and strive to stay up-to-date on the latest production techniques and creative designs being used in the retail industry, healthcare and in digital channels. In addition, research related subject matter to ensure visual and voice authenticity in creative.


Minimum Education and Experience


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Art/Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or related field. 5-7 years experience.
  • Must have a proven track record delivering creative solutions from concept through final execution. Must have a strong portfolio.
  • Adobe Creative Suite, basic video editing and photo retouching/manipulation, photo art direction experience.
