Insurance Processing Manager

Responsibilities

  • Lead team members and assess quality and quantity of work
  • Develop and implement written procedures for the centralization and standardization of the revenue cycle
  • Monitor the pulse of business processes by efficient use of systems and reports, manage relevant metrics
  • Develop and manage relationships with external business partners, including insurance carriers
  • Possess advanced knowledge in dental insurance claims processing and electronic data interchange (EDI)
  • Create and monitor organized workflow towards timely follow-up on aged insurance claims, appeals and denials
  • Navigate insurance carriers’ processes for faster claim adjudication
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to gather any necessary documents and follow-up in an organized manner, including collection of any required attachments, images & provider notes from 850+ Aspen Dental-branded dental offices
  • Identify gaps in business process, and develop / implement process to bridge them, support successful implementation of RPA and other AI-enabled technology

 

Minimum Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an associates or bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Experience in display of positive energy, strong verbal and written communication skills is required
  • Project management skills managing milestones, team workflow and resources
  • Demonstrated experience implementing new processes, policies reporting, training and continuous improvement
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
