The Manager of Corporate Applications is an experienced, result-oriented, hands-on leader who would be responsible for driving delivery of technology direction, architecture and implementation of technology solutions (COTS, SaaS, Packaged solution, custom developed software etc.) to a diverse group corporate functions – including Human Resources, Finance, Learning & Development, Corporate Communications, Legal & Compliance, Corporate Real Estate, Supply Chain, and Financial Planning & Analysis.  Reporting into the Director of Corporate Applications, you will lead a team of technology professionals (internal and external) who would define, deliver and maintain Corporate Applications in managing relationships with the varied business partners.  Additionally, you will work with colleagues from other IT disciplines in support of Corporate projects, as well as projects in support of other enterprise initiatives. 

 

Successful candidates will have an established track record of technology delivery (preferably in Corporate solutions), excellent people and project management skills, strong technical aptitude, analytical and problem solving ability, excellent communication skills, and be driven to achieve results in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, & develop a high-capacity team of IT professionals
  • Lead project and production support activities across a variety of ADMI-developed and vendor packaged Corporate applications.
  • Be a leader in all phases of waterfall and agile project life cycle – working closely with key stakeholders across business and IT functions.
  • Bring a multiplier attitude to leadership. Take responsibility for hiring great talent, coaching them to improve their skillset and grow their careers
  • Evangelize development best practices, software development techniques, and frameworks with other teams within the organization
  • Manage relationships with business partners, understand their business processes, and deliver value through technology solutions
  • Manage relationship with various vendor partners who are critical in helping to providing software and service solutions to ADMI.
  • Assess and communicate risks based on technical complexity, resources and timeline constraints
  • Lead research, evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies and engineering practices

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent
  • 5 years in a senior role (Architect, Technical Lead, Developer, Team Lead)
  • Demonstrated success and familiarity with different software development methodologies such as Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile
  • Demonstrated success implementing, integrating, and supporting packaged solutions
  • Strong knowledge of software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, automated testing and deployment processes
  • At least 3 years of experience managing a team of 4 or more as team lead, tech lead or manager
  • Track record of collaboration, customer focus, continuous improvement, influence and results
  • At least 5 years of Full Stack experience using some of the following technologies:.NET, Angular, MSBI
  • Knowledge of DevOps, and continuous integration-continuous delivery
  • Familiarity of Machine Learning, RPA is a plus
  • Familiarity with healthcare, insurance, retail is plus
  • Familiarity with Workday a plus
