People Insights Manager

The team:

The People Strategy & Planning team is responsible for developing and leading the execution of Aspen Dental’s talent strategies to attract, develop, motivate, and retain employees.  We support our Talent Development Partners and business leaders with processes, tools, analytics, and insights to accelerate building our talent pipeline.


As a reflection of our current needs and planned growth, we are very pleased to offer an opportunity to join our team as a Manager of People Insights.


The role:

The Manager of People Insights role is instrumental in harnessing the power of our people data to not only measure, analyze, and draw insights about our talent, but also to predict trends and organizational needs. 


  • Quantitative analysis – conduct quantitative analyses to test hypotheses, create insights, and drive data-based decision-making; utilize business and people data to build predictive models; recognize data needed for analyses; manipulate/validate data sources
  • Tool builder – design and build sustainable, replicable tools and dashboards to regularly communicate people metrics to the business
  • Holistic problem solving – demonstrate critical thinking skills to synthesize multiple pieces of information (quantitative and qualitative), identify root causes, and propose potential solutions; understand the big picture
  • Visual storytelling – translating analysis into a compelling story by creating impactful, concise slides that lead to action; effectively communicate concepts and insights

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Education level – Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5-7 years of analytical experience with 3+ years of HR experience, utilizing data to drive people insights and solutions across HR disciplines
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Tableau experience a plus
  • Demonstrated experience working with large volumes of data from a multitude of sources, while maintaining data accuracy and integrity
  • Expertise in developing and automating dashboards and key metrics
  • Resourcefulness, with a drive to innovate and surpass expectations; a natural curiosity
  • Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Comfort with ambiguity and able to shift gears comfortably, able to act without having the total picture
