As a reflection of our current needs and planned growth we are very pleased to offer an opportunity to join our dedicated Human Resources team as the Manager, People Strategy and Engagement.

 

The Manager, People Strategy and Engagement will lead the execution of Aspen Dental’s talent strategies to attract, develop, motive, and retain employees. This individual will have responsibility for the development and execution of enterprise wide programs such as, succession planning, change management, employee engagement, leadership development, and competency model alignment. This individual will also play a leading role in developing organizational playbooks and processes to enhance organizational capability creating a high-performing organization that meets its strategic and operational goals.

 

This individual will be partner with business leaders and HRBPs to execute on assigned programs. They are a hands on influencer– not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get projects done – and approaches work with a data-driven, analytical mindset. They are able to translate data into a visual representation to help decision makers understand current state and key levers to target in order for improvement in effectiveness and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the business and its challenges in order to help address the organization and people needs
  • Assist with the change process as the company meets the challenges of hyper-growth and the need to scale
  • Lead and manage a team to design, develop, implement, and provide continuous improvement of standardized talent management programs, systems, and processes including performance management, goal setting, succession planning, and employee engagement
  • Oversight and responsibility for engagement strategy; honing and refining our current engagement survey and action planning processes
  • Identifies and eliminate barriers to achieve high performance and engagement
  • Lead the transformation of organizational structures, leadership practices, and processes that support our culture
  • Evaluate HR programs and processes to measure impact and improve efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to develop targeted strategies and plans for high risk areas which increase organizational and leadership effectiveness
  • Develop and execute change management strategies on a wide variety of projects
  • Develop communication strategies to effectively communicate and promote human resources process

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Education Level: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Organization Development or Human Resources preferred
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in applied roles that include Organization Development, Talent Management, and Learning and Development
  • Demonstrated experience applying advanced theoretical knowledge of Change Management, Organizational Design, and Adult Learning to solve business challenges
  • Demonstrated experience building strong relationships with Human Resources colleagues, business leaders, and working collaboratively across multiple divisions
  • Inspirational coach, leader, colleague, and culture champion within the company. Strong mentor who can provide development guidance and is comfortable providing feedback at the executive level and all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to strategically design and tactically implement impactful talent management programs that integrate across multiple business and locations, including a disperse workforce in a customer centric environment
  • A successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic and changing environment
