Let's Clear Up Some Common Misperceptions
Is the advertised compensation truly attainable?
Associate dentists, even new graduates, are provided a minimum daily guarantee, usually $400 - $500 per day which varies by office location. That equates to $120,000 – $135,000 annually. Additional earnings may be based on the overall performance of the office which creates a team atmosphere, everyone working together to achieve the desired result in the best interest of the patient. Typical associate dentist compensation ranges from $130,000 - $150,000 annually.
Will I be the one making clinical decisions?
Yes, dentists are in the driver’s seat for diagnosing and treating patients. You have complete autonomy when it comes to managing patient care.
What will happen if I can’t keep up with my schedule?
Aspen Dental realizes new associates may not be ready to manage high patient volume and will be mentored by a managing clinical director.
Will I be locked-in to a long-term contract or a restrictive non-compete?
Aspen Dental does not have “term contracts” that require you to work a predetermined amount of time nor do they have non-competition clauses. Aspen Dental is confident you’ll enjoy the work environment, the earnings and the career path to ownership and that you’ll want to continue practicing with Aspen Dental.
