It was clear from the outset that Dr. Gabriel Iancu, known to his patients and colleagues as Dr. Gabe, was destined for big things. He joined Aspen Dental as an associate dentist in Albany, NY in 2003, and was focused on the big picture from his very first day.

Providing excellent clinical care has always been the number one priority for Dr. Gabe, but the business side of dentistry had long intrigued him. Infused with an entrepreneurial spirit, it didn’t take long for Dr. Gabe to merge his two passions.

“Being a practice owner had always been a goal of mine and I recognized the potential of practice ownership with Aspen Dental’s support,” Dr. Gabe said. “I had a strong desire to be a big part of Aspen Dental’s future.”

Dr. Gabe became a practice owner in 2005, starting with three locations. His practice thrived from the outset. In 2006 he doubled his practice, then added locations in 2007, 2009 and three in 2010. His group continues to grow and stretches from New York to Vermont.

“I was clear about my desire to own multiple offices from the start, and Aspen Dental proved to be the perfect vehicle,” Dr. Gabe said. “It’s been a great working relationship from the beginning. Aspen Dental strongly encouraged me to expand my practice when the time was right. My business results showed that I had the potential to succeed.”
